Current Worship Series: When God's People Pray

Prayer can be one of the simplest parts of the Christian life—and one of the most difficult. We wonder if God really hears us, whether we can tell Him everything, why we should keep praying when nothing seems to happen, and what it means when His answer is no. Walking through stories from scripture, from Elijah on Mount Carmel and Hannah pouring out her heart, to Jesus in Gethsemane and the early Church praying for boldness, we’ll discover that prayer is ultimately less about finding the right words and more about knowing the God to whom we pray. Through Christ, we have a Father who hears us, welcomes us, remains faithful when life falls apart, gives grace when the answer is not what we hoped, and draws us through prayer into His life and mission.
